Background:

In 2003, graduated from Mitskevich Polessky Agricultural College with a degree in Animal Science, specialization in Breeding. In 2006, graduated from Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine with a degree in Zootechnics. Upon graduation, began his career in the agricultural production sector in a position of a chief livestock specialist (poultry farming) at the Rassvet Poultry Farm, Gomel Region, and later as a livestock breeder (dairy cattle) at the state farm Sovkhoz-Kombinat Sozh.

In 2008, joined Research Institute of Radiology (since 2019 – Institute of Radiobiology of the National Academy of Sciences). In 2017, completed his Master’s Course at Francisk Skaryna Gomel State University with a MA degree in Biology. In 2021, completed his Postgraduate Course at the home institute with a specialty in Radiobiology and qualification of “Researcher”.

As a chief executor and co-manager, takes part in R&D topics and activities:

– “Study and optimize the mineral composition and the level of vitamin D in feed rations of cows to reduce the transfer of 90Sr into milk”;

– “Study the physiological state and reproductive function of horses kept in contaminated areas of the Polessky State Radiation and Ecological Reserve”;

– “Develop recommendations on the use of legumes in the diets of lactating cows kept in the territory of radioactive contamination towards milk production in line with the RPL-99 requirements for the content of 90Sr”.

In 2017, was awarded a Young Talents in Science Prize by the Gomel Regional Executive Committee “For achieving significant results in scientific and applied research in the field of natural and technical sciences”.

In 2018, was awarded a Certificate of Honour by Department for the Elimination of Consequences of the Chernobyl NPP Disaster.

An author and co-author of 56 scientific papers, 15 of which are included in the Russian Science Citation Index database, and 7 papers published in scientific journals approved by the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Belarus.
