Scientific interests:
radiobiology, radioecology, development of countermeasures in animal husbandry aimed at production of high-quality animal produce minimizing individual and collective exposure doses to population and corresponding to the food safety standards.
Background:
Graduated from Pinsk Agricultural College with a diploma in Zootechnics in1982. In 1990, graduated from Gomel State University with a degree in Biology. From 1990 onwards, employed with the Institute of Radiology (currently – Institute of Radiobiology of the National Academy of Sciences) in a position of a researcher at the Laboratory of Environmentally Safe Animal Production under Technogenic Contamination Conditions.
Has taken part in scientific and research activities in the framework of four consecutive State and Union-State Chernobyl Programmes, as well as international research projects.
In 2022, was awarded a Certificate of Honour by Department for the Elimination of Consequences of the Chernobyl NPP Disaster “For Significant Personal Contribution To Overcoming the Consequences of the Chernobyl NPP Disaster”.
Author and co-author of 63 scientific papers.
