The Primary Trade Union Organization of the Institute of Radiobiology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus exercises its activities in conformity with the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus, the Law and Regulations of the Republic of Belarus “On Trade Unions”, and the Charter of the Belarusian Trade Union of Workers in Education and Science.
Our primary efforts are meant to support and ensure:
- effective public oversight of social and labour relations, including supervision over labour law compliance; employment standards, rights and services; labour safety norms and regulations; fair wages; social protection against inflation and other potential negative economic consequences; legal defense of trade union members’ interests;
- sports, cultural–masses activities and promotion of healthy lifestyles, including preservation and improvement of traditional annual recreational activities; contests; provision of health resort vacation packages; provision of financial aid;
- trade union strengthening, including membership motivation activities; cultivation of patriotism and the sense of nationhood.
