Education and Career:

Graduated in 2008 from Belarusian Agricultural Academy with a higher education diploma in “Ecology. Agricultural Ecology”.

In 2021, completed her post-graduate course in radiobiology (specialty: 03.01.01) with a scientific qualification of a “Researcher” in biological sciences. In 2024, upon decision of Higher Attestation Commission and Council for Dissertation Defense of Belarusian State Agricultural Academy (protocol No. 9), Nina was awarded the degree of Candidate of Agricultural Sciences (internationally equal to Ph.D. title), specialty 06.01.09 Crop Production, with her defended thesis on “The yield and quality of sorghum varieties cultivated on 137Cs and 90Sr contaminated soddy-podzolic sandy loam soils differing in mineral nutrition”.

Currently, she is a principle investigator of the project “Study of the soil agrochemical effect on productivity, radionuclide transfer and the quality of sorghum crops aimed to improve the feed production system in farm areas of radioactive contamination” within the fames of the 2021-2025 State Programme on Overcoming the Consequences of the Chernobyl Disaster. Additionally, she is involved in the implementation of several research works in the framework of 2021–2025 “Natural Resources and Environment” State R&D Programme.

Co-authored 45 scientific publications. Articles in the VAK-listed journals: total 9 published, one in print. Articles in books of conference proceedings: 29 published, 2 in print. Other publications: 7 recommendations and research articles.
