Born in 1960 in Vorotynsk, Bobruysk district, Belarus.
Graduated from Belarusian State University in 1986, Biology Department.
During 1987–1988, a teacher of Biology and Chemistry in Bolshestrelkovsy secondary school, Rogachev district, Gomel Region.
During 1989–1991, a PhD student, postgraduate course in Radiobiology, IRB.
Joined IRB as a researcher in 1991.
